...i just don't know!
watching the news this evening and they had a "laughter therapy" group that was getting kicked outta a park in the city. it's a group of "x" amount of people (around 20 or so) and they go stand together in the park and laugh for a lil bit...makes everyone feel better. this isn't anything i have a problem with....
they're getting booted outta the park...they will no longer be able to have their lil therapy sessions there.... because...

this is good......

they're disturbing the wildlife!!

this news story followed the one about booting santa outta pre-school.

and still....i don't know.....*shaking head and walkin away*

That's too much! But very few news stories surprise me anymore. I wonder if they would kick out unruly humans that disturb local neighborhoods at night with the same vigor.

And what about the neighbors damn dog that starts barking at 10:00 every night, which is just about the time I'm trying to go to sleep? Can we kick him out too? Or does he have a right to bark noisily while good people are trying to sleep?

I think people make an awful lot of assumptions when they talk about "rights." That's all I'm going to say at the moment.

anyone who would participate in that kind of therapy session needs some serious.... uh... well... therapy.

That kind on thing is really popular in Japan and India. They have "laughing clubs" in which hundreds, or even thousands, of usually dreary and miserable people get to laugh out loud and enjoy themselves, something they would usually be too embarrassed or busy to do. I wouldn't join one, however. I laugh all the time

Yeah, I saw a bit (on Discovery?) about the laughing therapy in India and Japan. One of the funniest things I ever saw. A bunch of stern Japanese CEO types trying to laugh.

People need to loosen up more.

I think a lot of problems the world has would just go away if people weren't so dang uptight...
