Lately, besides the riddle post all the posts have been well, quite serious. So I figure, lets releive some tension! now, I know that the Asylum has a D & D, I was wondering if any of you would like to start a PBM (play by mail) roleplay, I dont really have any set ideas, I enjoy fantasy roleplay, but I like futuristic as well (warhammer ect.). I guess this is mainly aimed at WebShaman and the D&D team, but is open to anyone who is interested.. I guess you can post here your ideas, or email me. O.o |

Do you mean a D&D play by mail, or some other type of d20 system, or something that I am missing altogether? |

I've done D&D style, but ive also just done free-form, which is a bit more simple, and easy. though you guys are experienced, so I could do D&D. but whichever ya'll feel like, really I dont mind. Free form is easy, where you do no levels, but you increase in power and weaponry.. and if you do spells, you learn new ones, its really more common sense then a set system. ::shrug:: I just need somethin' to do, I work for a Graal server, called Valikorlia, and I RP there normally, but its going to bbe down for a few months, since we are re-furbishing the server, new levels, npc's, and quests, new nations, towns ect. anyways bleh, I need somthing to do. =P |

Tell me how Play By Email works. I imagine it wouldn't be nearly as interactive as what I've become used to? |

Graal -is- still around, and Valikorlia is the only fantasy-roleplaying server. its up to play now, but not on the player list. It will be pretty cool, okay enough with the plugging. anyways, email RP is fun, I enjoy the actual creating and playing of characters.. rather than the social interaction.. but thats a plus too.. anyways, its not that it isn't exciting, in the past ive found myself constantly refreshing my hotmail box, waiting for the next part, then agian, i'm a fairly avid roleplayer, and the actual story/plot is what attracts me. |

Does it still play like a traditional d20 game? |

In free form, No, then there is no GM, well there can be, but not required, but thats my own strange adeptation. but Yes, in pbm that are D&D based, and d20 based, you do have a GM, and the players send in what they want to do. email me your AIM and I'll contact ya, no use in wasting posts, well even though I do need to add some to my record.. |

Hmm, yes... unfortunately I also happen to be insanely busy these days... I don't think I'll be able to start another campaign at this point. |
