Dracusis was the name of my first D&D character, which was an elven theif. I first created Dracusis when I was about 9 years old, he died a horrid death at the hands of a rather angsty Dragon (He had lots of loot, I was only taking a little) some years later.

Several years on when video games would let you enter names for highscores longer than three letters my friends and I all started using the names of our first D&D characters. I can't really remember why but we just did. This carried over to the net quite well as most of these names are quite rare and unique. Some of the others were Baleggdell the Dwarven Fighter and Rannthalver the Priest.

To date I've never found any record of the word/name ever being used.

In the Dragonhunt world, there's a small band of air pirates called the Skyseekers. Their ship is the Perfect Thunder.

In real life, the closest thing I have to a nickname is "Senator," and my roommate just picked that one out because it sounds cool.

My name came from a combination of words. Orion is the hunter, the most beautiful (in my opinion) constellation in the heavens. I took that on as a nickname, a long time ago. Many people called me Rion because of it. Unfortunately, Orion is a popular name on-line. I decided one day, after using the screen names Orion485, Maester Orion, Isotope Or-ion, etc. that i needed an original name. Inspired by names like Morpheus, I changed the spelling of Orion so that you could still see the resemblance if they knew me, something that was similar to Orion (the Orien- part) and a smoother ending like that of morph*eus* (the -os part). I knew it was original and it sounded good I thought. (pronounced: Or-ē-in-ohs). I have also heard that the ending is like that of a suffix that means 'dreams.' But i am not sure how true that is.

Nothing to do with Marvel's Punisher.
Mine comes from angry days and fighting web-monkeys.
I wanted to reply to milkey.milker, and "warjournal" was the thing on my mind at the time.
Not that mikey is a web-monkey - just so we are clear on that.

Kind of a funny question: did you become your nick, or did your nick become you?

I love the South Pacific, Hawaiian shirts, sailing, deep sea fishing and just about anything having to do with living on or near the beach.

As for WJ's question, Tiki and Nik(my real name) have been fighting for control for a while now. Tiki would take less money and live a simple life on an island somewhere. Nik wants all the good things money can buy.

my nick goes back to my first months of internet (ab)use... my father limited my online time very strictly - so I had practically no time on the net... when I was looking for a nickname, it made "click" and ever since I've been known as notime...

Just because I'm paranoid that doesn't mean people aren't following me.

I was mixing up my real names, then after minutes of playing with it, I finally got this boring name.

Mine is actually very simple. mob68com translates to Martin O Brien, the 68 is when I was born and the com ties them both together as my website is mob68.com how's that?

my name is Thomas James McCrea. To avoid confustion with my dad named Tom I was called TJ. The use of my intials has stcuk with me to the point of signing checks with it.

tj was taken on one web site so I choose tj9 since I like the nmmber 9.
Since what I liked about 9 was that it was 3 threees I then went to tj333 when I found that tj9 was taken on another site, not sure if that as me from an earlier visit or not. tj333 has just stuck with me since then.

About the only difference between TJ and tj333 is that tj333 meets more interesting people.
