We print folk don't have many issues, so we don't need to spend our time nitpicking over minutiae. I'm sure you understand.

My biggest issue is customers.

And having to work every day.

Didn't seem worth posting about.

Wow, a sign of life...
Yepp, really agree with the above mentioned, this is the first day I have for doing stuff like organizing my desktop and so on. I´m the kind of person who cant throw away old stuff, afraid that I throw something useful. I normally put everything that I dont know If I will need in the future in a folder, and when that folder reaches like 500 megs, i put in on a CD and call it something like "trash april". In Sweden it´s called "squirrelbehaviour". Its working for me at least, and has actually saved me a couple of times...

Have btw been following the OS X issue here (ozone forum) which is quite interesting. My opinion is that it´s going to be great but one should wait one, maybe two updates otherwise you will really get some sleepless nights...One guy at my office is an old UNIX-programmer and he´s thrilled and have installed it at a "slave computer" which we only use for storage. I think the interface is really cool. The "dock" where you can have your favorite apps is quite nice...
Concerning which programs that are written for OS X I think Filemaker 5 one of few. There was a list over at Mac Worlds page that had a report about when the big ones was going to release a OS X version. Most of them had no release date. Dont know who said it but I agree with sticking with 9.1 and then upgrade to OS X v. 2 or whatever it will be called.

Best thing for me so far is that when I install it I wont have to restart the whole computer every time Quark freezes which is soooo annoying. Was actually wondering the other day how much time you spend just waiting in front of the computer?

Tommy, to answer that last question: Too much, and I've got two computers. My primary is pretty souped up, and I still wait...

Yeah, I spend some time waiting for the computer. I (like Jeni) have two on my desk. One is a Linux box and the other is Windows 2000. Their both on the network so I have access to about a half dozen machines and if I start a job on one of our machines that is taking too long, I just switch to another one and start to do some work. I find that I can keep four or five machines busy at the same time, but usually only in bursts.

When I have jobs running on the other machines, I will start reading the OzoneAsylum and I can keep two machines busy doing that. Since I usually surf the net on a windows machine, I find that most of the time when I'm just staring at the machine, it's because the box has locked up and won't access the internet and I have to re-boot.

I heard it too!

I´m on vacation but couldn´t stay away. I have five weeks starting today which will be great. But to stay offline and away from the computer for five weeks is impossible I guess. Gonna do some work at home so I wont go totally nuts. But, mostly the beach and lots of golf...

sincerely yours

howdy everyone!

Didnt mean to be rude by saying Ive got five weeks. Thats just the ways things are here in Sweden, most likely the salary is better in the states though. The titanium is becoming a better friend now and the handicap is getting down, slowly but its just game. I must tell myself that every time i play otherwise it will be an even more expensive sport. Actually had my plans a couple of years ago to move to the states but it didnt happened, too short vacation...he he.

About the power book, yes that truly is something. Would surely want one myself. Have to go with the G4 tower.
