OK. I assume Jeni will answer this one as well! Thanks so much by the way. . . . everyone is in their cells. How can I import images (i.e. powerpoint graph) into Illustrator.

Anyone else?

I think you're stuck with me right now

Well, I don't know crap about powerpoint, but I'll tell you this much. You can import it as an image, but not something you'd be able to edit typewise in Illustrator. It'd have to be an eps or tif if you're printing it. I also am not sure what Powerpoint allows you to export as, if it's anything like the other MS products, my guess is that you don't have many options...what does it allow?

If nothing else, Powerpoint will export to BMP, which can be taken into PS and exported to PSD to take into AI.

OK. Jeni I didn't mean anything by "anyone else?" I just feel bad its only us two in this thread. . . here is a little update. I opened up PowerPoint and Illustrator at the same time and simply dragged from PP into Illustr. It worked, Yippeee. Now, about the file format. I did not save the PP file as tif or eps. I simply dragged it into Illustr. Should I go back and re save the image. We plan on printing the finished Illustr. file.

Absolutely. Go back and import if you can...or drag and drop into PS and make sure your resolution and color mode are Kosher with what you want to output. Then save as an EPS or Tif....That way you know what you're getting...Also it keeps your illustrator file size down when you have linked files as opposed to embedded ones.

Yeah and sorry I've been jumping on each question. It's just that I work in Print and I get excited when someone needs assistance with stuff that I know

I'm an eager beaver.
