We recently upgraded to 10, and I was experiencing printing problems, so I mosied over to Adobe's forums....Anyone with Mac Os 9, or X for that matter, should think twice about upgrading to AI 10. Just wanted to give fair warning. You would have thought I had learned my lesson after 9.0...hehe |

Really, what kind of problems are you finding? |

The largest problem I have seen from others (and encountered personally) so far is that you cannot print. You get an error message saying "can't print the illustration". There are about 12 threads on Adobe's site with no resolutions. This seems to be more a problem in 9.x then in 10. I didn't even really get into the threads much on OSX, but what I did see was problems with page setup and Illustrator not using, for example 8.5x11 for letter, standard dimensions... |

Hmmm, No problems here but I guess I have not really tried printing directly from Illustrator on OSX or OS9. I mostly pass the files on to Quark. I pull up and flaten the file, then converted to illlustrator 6 format, the file is then saved to the network for placement in Quark 4.x. I have not had any problems printing anything with this workflow, (Well I have but it was my stupid fault. By using truetype fonts. Avoid any font with a city as it's name. ) |

I found that if I use Adobe PS, I can get it to print. |
