It would be interesting to see what cameras people have, whether they are digial or not and how they perfrom.

I personally have a FUJI Finepix 2800Z Digital Camera, not too bad, but has probs with the view finder in bad light.

Don't have a digital yet, but I'm probably going to buy me a Canon S45 or S50 within the next two weeks.

Seems like a reasonable price/quality-ratio for a photo-hack like me

Just started getting interested in photography so I'm using my father's old Canon A-1 with a bunch of extra lenses ranging from 20mm to 500mm. I like the camera so far, but if I stay interested in photography for long enough and get the money I'll probably buy a digital camera...

I've got a Canon G3 and a Canon G2. I've loaned the G3 to my sister, who might then buy the G2 if she likes it enough. I love the G3 though.

I've got an older Canon Rebel (the EOS-series) with separate flash, one 50mm, one 70-100mm and one 100-300 mm canon lens. Works very nicely for a happy amateur. I've got a simple Olympus 1.3 Mpx digital as well for those snapshots you just need to grab right now.

Should I want to do pro work I could borrow my brothers 300 m2 studio with pro pentaxes and Hasselblads and all the lighting you could whish for

~off topic bit:
Hey tom can you switch lenses between the two camera's?
The name does sugest it.... That would be a real flexible solution.

Actually i am saving up some money for a canon digital Ixus. I realy love this little one.

rinswind yep, all canon lenses (or 3rd party canon lenses) work on the d30 digital slr. also the ultrasonic lenses and the infra red remote flashes work. Great if you want to use as a back flah in portrait photos to eliminate shadows for portrait photo's. so basically if you have any canon or canon compatible kit it will work on the d30/d60

i have some pics i have taken with my d30 using a variety of lenses, from wide angle to zoom, some using the inbuilt flash and others using mounted flashes and remote flashes.when i finally get my assinto gear and get my server configured at home this week i will post them

in my opinion the d30 is only beaten by one other professional digital slr, and thats its replacement the d60. they are expensive but the results are awsome,

hehehe slightly off topic aswell,i picked up another camera, actually was given it in lieu of payment, a canon slr (interchangeable lenses again!!) using the kodak APS film system, and that camera kicks ass, the quality of image, although slightly smaller than the 35mm films is awsome.

hey rinswind live anywhere near zundert???

DMS, nice lighting rig

Krets:the Canon D60 has a few new features over the D30, but unless you are working at a fully professional level, i wouldnt reccomend buying the D60.

The D30 with the flexibilty of being able to use all canon lenses etc, coupled with the fact it has dropped in price considerably since the introduction of the D60 makes it an awsome purchase.

And the APS camera i just picked up is the only fully professional APS camera out there, and i will probably ditch my EOS 300 in favour of it.
