Yup, now he's dead...you can throw him in the wagon with the others...

'But he's not dead yet...'

'Yes he is! Look, just take him to the pile, it'll be alright'

Mrs. O'Brien: Oh, don't worry, he's not dead. He's only sleeping. He'll probably wake up soon, realise that he's dead, and the shock will kill him.

Ah, the art of the Irish joke. But seriously, folks, I've missed Weadah and Skaarjj and all of my friends. I've even missed Yannah, to a point. Besides, it's a whole new chapter in the asylum history, and we have a whole new influx of trolls to tame.

Haven't we already established that DL was only a figment of the naked Spaniard's imagination? Or was the naked Spaniard just a figment of my imagination? For that matter, you may all be figments of my imagination. The only thing I know is that I am not a figment of anyone else's imagination, but I can't prove that to anyone else--after all, I could just be a figment of your imagination that's simply making stuff up as it goes along.

And in the interest of contributing something useful to the thread: "Six Sicilian sailors slightly slitting sheets. I am the son of a sheet slitter." Try saying that ten times fast.

I always asked to taste whatever my parents were drinking since I can remember. They always let me taste and I always had the same reaction... yuck!!! But it was fun tasting it anyway. I think I developed an actual taste for beer after I finished college.

db, reitsma: What you guys have never seen quotation marks before? Or pronouns, for that matter? I know that your jesting is merely a futile attempt to hide your weakness. You can not fool me, though. And you can not fool the sheet slitter.

Yannah: I started drinking beer when I was in high school, but not a lot and it wasn't real beer anyway. I really developed a passion for beer when I spent a semester in London during my university years. Our first day there my flatmates dragged me out to a place called The World's End and I had a dozen pints of Guinness. It was just so good I couldn't stop drinking it.

I don't drink beer that much anymore, though. In fact, I would say maybe once a month, if I'm lucky. But if I had good beer readily available at reasonable prices, I can guarantee you it would be more often.

Thats crazy the way you gotta be 21 in the US, here its 18, but I started drinkin later than most my age here at 14-15, started goin to a pub quite often when I was 16-17, it did no harm to me, and Im not a big alco or anything, I'd only drink twice a week usually. Anyone ever tasted Stella Artois brewed in Belgium ?(not the UK one), mmh lovely..

. . . . . I didnt even get dain bramage , watch out for that one Yannah.

I don't think I acquired a taste for beer until I was about 2 years into college. I would have been about 19 or 20 at the time. I had had oppotunities to drink it prior to that time, just didn't find one I liked until then... The brands my high school chums managed to get their hands on were all American beer, which everyone knows is like bitter water...
I think Newcastle was my first favorite...

My tastes have graduated since then, I prefer Wild Turkey these days! (and that sure ain't beer!)

How's this for irony... The US drinking age used to be 18. My oldest sister's 18th birthday was the year they changed the age! She thought she had finally made it there, and then she was shocked to learn she all of a sudden had 3 more years to wait!
