No, I haven't missed you much. Even though you can be amusing at times, it's also a bit tiring to read your replies, which often don't have much to do with the topics. Don't worry baby, it is our fault, not yours.

I'm not always here as well, but when I'm here I only read some post, then left without any reply. I don't think anybody would miss me, but I really miss some of the people who used to be here with us.

Well, not really. Not of late. I only catch about 4-10 posts a week on average. Hopefully things will cool off around June/July and I'll be able to hang out more.

yannah - do you just pick random words from threads, and reply to those, instead of READING THE ENTIRE THREAD?

if you want to communicate effectively, you have to take the time to ensure you have received the message properly.

you rarely make any sense. part of it may be due to the fact that english is your second language, but i think your laziness is also to blame.

read the post slowly, then read it again. from top to bottom.

if you did, you would see that bugs was directing that question to Hiroki. He was in essence saying "would you prefer honestly - which may end up sounding rude; or a polite lie?"

if you read this thread properly, you would also see that hiroki directed a question towards you. maybe you should answer that one.

I do think that was a bit uncalled for. I didn't even catch that Bugs didn't direct a question at Yannah (and yes, my native language is English). Yannah replied only to Bugs' post, is that unacceptable or am I missing something else?

abb: I do not think reitsma's post was in any way uncalled for. If this were an isolated incident I could see cutting Yannah some slack, but this has become so par for the course that I hardly even notice it anymore. And am I the only one who saw the incredibly monumental irony in Yannah's reply to reitsma's post? I couldn't have scripted it any better myself.

Oh, and for what it's worth, I noticed you were gone. But people come and go here all the time...

Don't get me wrong, I love having Yannah around, it's just that since we've exhausted most other means I think we're moving into a "tough love" mode with her It's not like other members here haven't had "issues" and through it all many have come out the better for it. Which is the whole idea, all of us moving upwards and onwards together.

random funny moment i was just reminded of:

in college i lived in a dorm just outside a complex of 4 dorms that were connected by a central area with a dining hall, convenience store, etc. one time a buddy of mine were walking into the convenience store just as another guy was walking out, opening his pint of ice cream and about to dig in with a plastic spoon. my buddy and i go grab whatever it was we were there for, and as we walk back up to the front counter the guy with the spoon is there, looking kinda ticked. the person at the counter had just walked off to get the manager and spoon boy half turns around as we walk up, answering our apparently quizzical look by holding out his plastic utensil.

"cut my tongue," he says. "it's a f*ckin' blade."

after our laughter (and tears) had subsided you can imagine what our new catchphrase was for a few weeks...
