![]() I'd love to learn to texture. I have built a purely non-atmospheric space-craft, called the Eberwether, and I have little to no idea how to texture it, but just to prove to you that I wasn't crapping on about me being able to 3D model, here's a screen shot. |

![]() Best free suggestion I can give is to check out the Mastering 3D Graphics site and look in the free stuff section and read the HTML tutorials on surfacing from the first two issues of Serious3D magazine. If you're wanting to drop a bit of cash I'd highly recommend Bill Fleming's 3D Photorealism Toolkit and Advanced 3D Photorealism Techniques for lots of great info on lighting and surfacing. Hope that helps... |

![]() Im don't know much about lightwave, but Im going to assume that the mesh is already cut up nicely into how you wanna texture it. |

![]() LightWave is quite capable of texturing without having to worry about importing into something else, just define your surfaces in Modeler then bring your objects into Layout and modify your surface properties. If you want to ask something a bit more specific I can try to help, "how to texture?" is kind of a broad question <img border=0 align=absmiddle src="http://www.ozones.com/forum/smile.gif"> |
