Preserved Topic: Looking for some info on Web Admin (Page 1 of 1)

I am going to be acquiring my own domain name and will become webadmin. It is for a local skate park. I am going to be making the web page and running the whole show. The problem is, I don't know how to run the whole show, but I want to learn. Can anyone tell me where I could go to learn about being a web admin? I want to be able to do many different things on this site. I would like to have a forum like this one and other things. I know how to do web pages and things, I just don't know everything about running them.

Depends on who's hosting the domain. Some providers have a web based interface that lets you do just about anything you need. Others require you to use telnet and admin via command line.
