Preserved Topic: Aaarg there was a virus on my computer!! (Page 1 of 1)

I d'n't know wher i came from bur myscanner found the "weird" virus. (stupid name for a virus heh)
So check your comp. I don't know how smart this virus is. i removed it with Norton-Antivirus. So it's gone now. Just keep your scanner on.

It puts different colors in the pixels from any text on your screen.. All the text that is...even from buttons and menu's...
really nothing is readable anymore.

Are you certain that it was a virus??? I had something similar to that where pixels would be replaced with others, or even entire color ranges would be replaced... I tracked it down to a faulty video card, and I replaced it. Never saw it again.

I had a similer problem, It would only work right in like 24 bit color. Then my vid card just totally died
