I've really noticed all of the strange handles that people have, even mine would be strange if you'd never played Unreal, but I was just wondering, how did everyone come up with their names?

(BTW: Doc...what's up with your Email? I keep getting returned mail saying that your address has permanent fatal errors.)

Well depending on the mood Im in I either tell people that I came to my name after watching Top Gun (one of my fav movies) one to many times. One of the piliots names is Jester and I changed the 'er' to 'ah'. Truth is I just like the name Jestah. Always have. Ive been told it fits my personality pretty well to. I dont even know what Unreal is so yeah Skaarjj is a little weird of a name. It sounds like the name of a fish or something, still cool though.

my "handle" was created when i began playing diablo back in '98. i wanted something that sounded feminine as well as fantasy bookish. it simply means "lady sasha", so its sort of a contraction. sasha was a dog i got for my 15th birthday.

lots of people thought it was french. the name pretty much stuck with me until i began playing UO. it made a dumb name for a character.

My handle's an altered Klingon word, but it doesn't mean anything. I'm no trekkie, but I just thought it had a nice ring to it. (you pronounce it like mike-a or maika.)

Before I roamed the net under the name 'megalomaniac', which is just latin for 'bighead.' No, I'm not. thank you very much.

Before this, I was known as murcurochrome, the iodized crystal antiseptic...for no good reason whatsoever except that it was a long word (misspelled, no less) and I ran a BBS called Zeitgeistjaialaithrombophlebitis.

I soon realized that as original as I thought it was, it was'nt. My friend called me an 'unoriginal bastard', so I thought that it would be only fitting to stick it in my signature.

That lasted till i discoved AOL and realized EVERYONE had that name. Then I built my first website and called it Jestahs Relm. Yes I know now that it was spelt wrong. After submitting it to several search engines and then waiting I decided to see if it worked. I searched for Jestah and about 200 different sites came up ... not including my own. Oh well.

Han Solo's ROTJ DL-44

Designed for close quarters combat, this portable and very lethal blaster was often used by Han Solo because it reliably punched through armor. A weapon favoring brute force over finesse, the DL-44 delivers tremendous damage, yet is small enough to be fired one-handed; its effective range is twenty-five meters with a maximum range of 50 meters.

The DL-44's Xciter consumes energy at four times the rate of a standard blaster pistol, draining a power pack after only twenty-five shots. Because of the excessive power consumption, the DL-44's grip has a vibrating "cautionary pulser" that silently alerts the user when the pack is down to five shots or less. A quick release lever and the power packs location - immediately in front of the trigger - allow very quick replacement of drained power packs.

Just as the Millennium Falcon is far from being a "stock freighter", Han Solo's Return of the Jedi DL-44 is a custom-crafted and greatly enhanced. Solo added a zero light scope which relies on the targets heat signature. The galven circuitry is extensively modified to deliver increased damaged without draining additional power. Solo carries the blaster in a quick-draw holster, giving him an added edge when speed counts.

It all started about three years ago at a New Years Eve party with my wife and a load of friends. We had gone out for a very high-class meal to be followed by the usual partying into the night. As the night went on I began to get more and more hammered. And when it came to the cheese and biscuits, I decided that it would be funny to throw the cellery (that I don't like) at the paintings on the wall (over some other diners heads I might add!). Of course some guests did not find it funny, but one of my friends DID and remarked "Oh, you are a Trixter!!!". And it has stuck ever since as my nick-name and not just for the web.

But the store's",
doing business big-time, home office won't let him close, and Boomzilla's started eating candy bars free because the securities are watching the smoke still rise off the wet black garbage, all that's left this end, so you can see the real bridge there, the old part, black too, hanging out in the air like something's bones.
And finally the manager comes and reads from a notebook, ladies and gentlemen, this momentous occasion. jaw jaw, and now they are placing the first object in the unit in our Singapore branch (Boomzilla sees on the TV, out on the pylon, it's a gold statue of the Lucky Dragon himself, smiling) and it will now be reproduced, at a molecular level in every branch of our chain throughout the world.
Checker and two securities, they clap. Boomzilla sucks on the ice in the bottom of his big drink. Waits.
Lucky Dragon Nanofax has a hatch on the front Boomzilla could fit through, he wanted to, and he wonders would that make more Boomzillas other places and could he trust those motherfuckers? If he could, he'd have a tight posse but he doesn't trust anybody, why should they?
Light over the hatch turns green, and the hatch slides up and out crawls, unfolds sort of, this butt-naked girl, black hair, maybe Chinese, Japanese, something, she's long and thin, not much titties on her the way Boomzilla likes but she's smiling, and everybody, the manager, checker, securities, they jaw-hang, eyes popped: girl straightening up, still smiling, and walks fast to the front of the store, past the security counter, and Boomzilla sees her reach up and open the door, just right on out, and it'll take more than a naked Japanese girl get anybody's attention out there, in the middle of this disaster shit.
But the crazy thing is, and he really doesn't get this, standing looking out through the doors at the video pylon, so that he has to go outside and fire up his last Russian Marlboro to think about it, after, is that when he sees her walk past the screens there, he sees her on every last screen, walking out of every Lucky Dragon in the world, wearing that same smile.
Boomzilla still thinking about this when his Marlboro's done, but thinks it's time for a Lucky Dragon Muff-Lette microwave, he thinks of that as his businessman's breakfast, and he's got the money but when he gets back in they got no Muff-Lette, fucking firemen ate them all. Fuck that, he tells them. "Why don't you fax me one from fucking Paris?"
So security throws his ass out.

Boomzilla, that sig is *way* too big for the board. The file size is something like 69k. Signatures ought to be kept under 10k if at all possible, but 69k is ridiculous. For people with 56k modems, that sig would take like 15+ seconds to download. I'm not really sure if you meant it that way, but I think the signature would look quite a bit better if you eliminated the white "jaggies" around the edges. Either than, or make the edges consistent, so that they are not changing throughout the image. It's definitely an interesting concept, but the file size is just far too big for a signature.

Since birth my parents have called me "Buggy". All my family still does. In Junior High I wrote fantasy stories based on a world I created and in that world I was known as "Bugimus". In high school I decided to tone down "Buggy" to just "Bugs".

If you call me anything that starts with the letters b-u-g, I will respond

Hey Babamba...thanks for that..

....Yes it was a good film, and believe it or no, trucking in reality is a fun occupation...it gets in your blood and wont let go....

I've called it a day on 3 occasions and settled into a management role, only to miss the freedom and camaraderie so bad I went back....4 years this December, since I last drove a truck full time....still wrestle with an overwhelming desire to return to my old employers in Amsterdam (Holland)....as of my last call to them in July, there?s still a job waiting if I want it....nice people.
I guess my strategy must be changing....just quit my job at a Mercedes Truck Dealership....take up my new position as Operations Manager with a small trucking company in late October....lots to do....fun times ahead....

Bugimus...love your new sig....
