![]() I think, in essence, he's talking about the existentialist downplay of modern day education, and how the humanists of the early Renaissance era were constantly striving for a more "well-rounded" personality that would give itself to better defination through the ages. In effect, the Jungian principle that all things, though constantly in shifting patterns, eventually derive the same basic meaning--that of age, and it's inevitable grip on the entire society of mankind. For every action, it is said, there is an equal and opposite reaction. Don't cry over spilled milk. A penny saved is a penny earned--which explains why I have to put my two cents in, but it's only a penny for my thoughts...someone is making a penny. |
