My senior year starts next wednesday... My school is *not* one of those "do what you want when you want" schools; in fact, I'd say it's a fairly bad school in this sense; it's extremely strict about things that aren't necessary. Aside from that, I guess I'm getting a good education, so, eh. |

Yeah Im starting my senior year wensday too. Im in that whole AP class crowd so pretty much the teachers and principals let us do whatever we want. Its pretty cool actually. Only problem is the computer department got two new teachers that I havent met yet. Usually I spend the whole day online but now it just depends if the new teachers let me. |

Heh heh. I had a friend in school, brilliant guy, but he tested *awful*, dyslexic as all hell. He wanted a school where he could study auto mechanics. He also wanted a school with a lot of girls nearby. They had this primitive little tool with cards and holes punched in it, you made your selections and out popped numbers of schools. He ended up at the "Cumberland Community College" in the boonies of the Maryland panhandle. They taught three subjects; nursing, secretarial skills, and, you guessed it, mechanics. 10 girls for every guy in town, he was in heaven! I visited him several times at school over the years, what a town Cumberland was! Ah... |

I'm a junior now, so it's tight. Lots of girls to go around for us juniors. My school isn't too strict, especially for the "AP crowd" as Jestah calls it. I'm really pissed though, my calc teacher gave us a packet of shit to learn, and we have a test tomorow! Stupid bitch. Sorry for my excessive swearing if swearing offends any of you. |

Wow mbridge. A Junior taking calc? The highest we could take in my school was pre-calc as a junior. I skipped calc this year though. Im taking AP Math. Shouldnt be that bad though. Although I heard the teachers a real prick. Usually the AP teachers are real cool... |

Well, I'm already working on my flirting for tomarrow. First day, and an 18 year old catches my eye. Even if I'm too *young* for her, I gotta at least be a close friend |

Yeah, between AP's, college courses, honors and teachers assistant I got well over the credits need to graduate high school after just two years, our HS is 4 years though. Unfortunatly health hasta be taking in 11th grade which I think I told you guys I didnt go and ended up with a not so great grade so i took it over this summer to get my gpa back to a 106. Also gym hasta be taking every year. That sorta sucks because while I love sports, I would have liked to graduate at 16 a lot more. I could leave after 4 periods(state mandatory) this year but I decided since all my friends hafta stay till at least 8th period(9 overall) I might as well too. I dont have anything better to do and it looks better for college. |

Jestah-I'm 2 years ahead of my grade, Calc BC AP is what I'm in, it's basically the highest math offered at our school (there's only 15 students in it). It's worth 4 college credits (2 years) of math. With all these APs I'm taking, I'll have enough college credits to graduate college in 2 years. |

Ugh, I'm taking all APs too... AP calc, AP statistics, AP physics, and AP french. And then the lowest level of enlgish there is. Thankfully, I've had 3 years of history, and I dont have to take that this year. |

Wow Slime we're a lot alike. Actually my gf seems to be more interested in my college then I am. I want to start applying but Im not too sure how to go about it and I dont really know what I want to go into. I figured I should take business administration and minor in Computer Science but I might double major in both. Does anyone know the difference in double majoring and major/minor? |

We started HS the 7th, im a Junior now, Lame classes galore. Really sucks bad. I havent taken the SAT again since 7th grade. (4 years ago?) Im a smart kid, sorta, cept i dont do my homework, and i cease to care. (really bad mental state to fall into by the way) i scored a 445 on the english and a 465 on the math. This is in 7th grade, giving me a 910. Not to bad considering 90% of the math section hadn't been taught to me yet. And the english, well, lets just say a 7th graders vocab isent what it used to be . I wanna take some courses, read some books, so i can score as high as possible. Hell, who doesnt. |

Wow thats a good score twitch. I havent talked to many people that beat me ... 1540 I think. I almost had a perfect score my on PSATs ... not that they matter. Of course I dont qualify for the National Merit Scholarship(sp?) The score was more then enuff they said you hafta actually need financial aid. That and you need to learn to spell, which i cant lol. |

jay ~ suffice to say I get bored easily and standardized testing is more than simplistic in comparison to some of the more complex philisophical and rhetorical debates that friends and I get into. the ACTs were also rather simple--didn't miss one of those motherfucking questions. haha! |

I got a 1300 on the sat in 7th or 8th grade. I'm somewhere around 1500 now, without having studied. I should be up around 1550+ by the actual one. Yea, I think slime is right. Computer design and programming in general tends to attract more intelligent people. Then again, I'm sure there are those people out there that exagerate. |

Speaking of winning the national medal of science 4 years in a row ... well no I didnt. I have a lot of friends though that have won lots of science awards. Im not sure what awards exactly but when they do give them out check the paper, they always list where they're from and at least 50% are from Long Island. Im good in science ... not great tho |
