Yup, its today..
It's a "do what you want, when you want school", so I might be able to find a computer to come post here with. I have to make a lunch, shave, then comb my hair.

I might stop in before I leave.

Yea, I had my first day of school today too. It was rough, all the little fuckers getting in my way, bored out of my mind, and I realized that I hate all my teachers. The only positive was meeting all my friends that I hadn't seen for a while. Other than that, today sucked!

My senior year starts next wednesday... My school is *not* one of those "do what you want when you want" schools; in fact, I'd say it's a fairly bad school in this sense; it's extremely strict about things that aren't necessary. Aside from that, I guess I'm getting a good education, so, eh.

I'm also supposed to have an idea of where I'm going for college, and I have *none* at all... so what happens next? I dunno.

Yeah Im starting my senior year wensday too. Im in that whole AP class crowd so pretty much the teachers and principals let us do whatever we want. Its pretty cool actually. Only problem is the computer department got two new teachers that I havent met yet. Usually I spend the whole day online but now it just depends if the new teachers let me.

Yeah Im supposed to have an idea on where Im going to college too. My friends have taken a more active roll in looking into it then me. I did awesome on my SAT's and have good grades so I can pretty much go anywhere I pretty much just wanna pick the school with the highest girls to guys ratio....

Heh heh. I had a friend in school, brilliant guy, but he tested *awful*, dyslexic as all hell. He wanted a school where he could study auto mechanics. He also wanted a school with a lot of girls nearby. They had this primitive little tool with cards and holes punched in it, you made your selections and out popped numbers of schools. He ended up at the "Cumberland Community College" in the boonies of the Maryland panhandle. They taught three subjects; nursing, secretarial skills, and, you guessed it, mechanics. 10 girls for every guy in town, he was in heaven! I visited him several times at school over the years, what a town Cumberland was! Ah...

Well, I'm already working on my flirting for tomarrow. First day, and an 18 year old catches my eye. Even if I'm too *young* for her, I gotta at least be a close friend

Back to the school thing... it seems nice so far. At the beggining of the day we have to check into our T.A. and plan out our day. I plan on at least having 90 minutes a day of socializing time. Good thing, that grade 12 girl is in my T.A., and she's always staring back at me

This school real is do what you want when you want, though. And according to my schedual, I'll have all the courses I need done, finished by mid-May, leaving me some time to get part of my grade 11 done. It would be nice to finish 3 years in two. So I can get a whole year off Not just some crappy spares..

Yeah, between AP's, college courses, honors and teachers assistant I got well over the credits need to graduate high school after just two years, our HS is 4 years though. Unfortunatly health hasta be taking in 11th grade which I think I told you guys I didnt go and ended up with a not so great grade so i took it over this summer to get my gpa back to a 106. Also gym hasta be taking every year. That sorta sucks because while I love sports, I would have liked to graduate at 16 a lot more. I could leave after 4 periods(state mandatory) this year but I decided since all my friends hafta stay till at least 8th period(9 overall) I might as well too. I dont have anything better to do and it looks better for college.

Jestah-I'm 2 years ahead of my grade, Calc BC AP is what I'm in, it's basically the highest math offered at our school (there's only 15 students in it). It's worth 4 college credits (2 years) of math. With all these APs I'm taking, I'll have enough college credits to graduate college in 2 years.

Ugh, I'm taking all APs too... AP calc, AP statistics, AP physics, and AP french. And then the lowest level of enlgish there is. Thankfully, I've had 3 years of history, and I dont have to take that this year.

But it kind of worries me that I have no idea at all where I'm going for college... I want to go somewhere that offers a lot of info about web design, the internet, computer languages, etc... but the only places in my area that do that are incredibly hard and I'd hate to work that hard. So I don't know what's going to happen to me when I graduate...

Wow Slime we're a lot alike. Actually my gf seems to be more interested in my college then I am. I want to start applying but Im not too sure how to go about it and I dont really know what I want to go into. I figured I should take business administration and minor in Computer Science but I might double major in both. Does anyone know the difference in double majoring and major/minor?

Anyways Ive taken lots of AP's since hs. Theres bio, chem, physics,us history, european history, science, computer a( i think thats what its called and computer b(again I think thats what its called.) Ive never gotten below a 4 on any of them and Ive taking college Spanish. College Accounting 1, college Accounting 2, and Web Design(it only counted for college credit at a local college tho)

Impressive mbridge, AP Math is pretty much the last AP I can take now. My guidence consolor wanted me to take AP Itallian too. I never took an Itallian course in my life but she said its so similar to spanish I would pick it up in no time. I dont think so though, I dont want to kill my gpa my final year.

And yes, Dan shaves, Dan shaves quite often now.. =[ more work then its worth he thinks.

I couldn't take AP courses in this school, you had to take everything, or nothing, and I wouldn't want to take AP English. So Im just doing most of my 10 and 20's in the same year. I'll have more then enough credits to graduate high school after my 2nd year. But wont have earned many University crdeits. Maybe thats what I could do for a 3rd year? I was thinking just take time off, and get a job.

Oh well, still a lot of time to think about it.

This is in 7th grade, giving me a 910. Not to bad considering 90% of the math section hadn't been taught to me yet. And the english, well, lets just say a 7th graders vocab isent what it used to be . Actually I got a 4 on my AP US History exam. For one of the eassay questions I wrote about playing hockey. My teacher is still pissed at me cause he said I would have had a five. It's probably because the skills involved in web design and similar things, which people come to this board to talk about, are the same skills that help with testing and such. For instance, I got an 800 on the math section and a 630 on the english section; you'll notice that JavaScript and POV-Ray (kinda) are my strengths, both based on a ton of math.
