Sorry, I should remember how to do this, but I totally forgot. What's the image element to set the border color?

well, wouldn't that depend on how you're using the border? if it's just a plain image, don't you use "<img src="img.jpg" border="#HHEEXX"> tag? Perhaps I don't know...never used 'em myself.

Hmm, can you do that if it's not a link? As far as I know you can't set the color with HTML for a regular border. Can you with CSS?

*pulls out reference book*

yes and no. ive received mixed results defining borders between ie and ns. according to o'riley's web design in a nutshell, you can define border color by color (border-color: color) in ie and ns version 4 or greater.

they also state that the img border=x atribute has been depreciated in html 4 (which of course means that youre *supposed* to use css to define the element). however, if you use css to define your border-width: 0 in css for links, it is not compatable with netscape. i discovered this a month ago on another project. you might be able to use one of the other atributes for border-width, such as thin, medium, or thick.
