This one was truly...strange...

I especially liked the parts about My Slug and the exploding robot duck. VERY weird!

the most impressive use of flash I think i've seen to date. that man has skills!

no offence, but that is the absolute dumbest thing i have ever seen. the animation was good, true... but it was pointless. i hate pointless flash.

why do so many people like that link anyways??

The first time I stood in front of Michaelangelo's "David", I was awestruck. A mass of stone, carved flawlessly into this being. Every edge refined to a smooth finish, and a certain glory in the very sight of it. The penultimate presence of the tools he used, with the skill he had, to shape the vision he saw in his mind's eye.

My wonder was broken suddenly by a kid beside me, who queried quite coarsely "So he carved some naked guy outta rock, big deal, what's the point?"

This flash link isn't "David"....and some anaologies aren't as subtle....but damn....

is it impressive.

Pointless to you, awe inspiring to me. Art is personal, its what makes it so. Something about that animation speaks volumes to me... if it doesnt inspire you, dont let that be a source of bitterness.

The machine I was using in my studio doesn't have a sound card attached to it...so perhaps with sound I will check it out again and be as awed as the rest of you blokes.
