Maniac (V) Lord Mad Scientist Sovereign of all the lands Ozone and just beyond that little green line over there... From: Stockholm, Sweden |

Sorry I've been off these last couple days, family members are sleeping on my sofa, and things are not as comfy as they once were, heh. I'm monitoring my server space, and this last couple days many posts have been added that need archiving, if we are to have room for new posts! I'm going on an archive rampage, but any help would, of course be appreciated. Thanks in advance, you guys really are the best! |

Oh yeah! What's been keeping me busy? Check out http://www.ozones.com/desktop/ - it's still flaky, and I need to rewrite almost all of the scripts that will make it up, but this is what the next iface of the OZONE should be. Comments, etc... but bear in mind this is *not* realeased, it's got bugs, which I create and then fix and then make new, heh heh. I'll post it in the site reviews when it's ready. |

You'd better credit Layne Karkruff for it, Doc. You've got a LOT inspired from his stuff.... The scripts don't work for me, allright, I can only drag the icons. I dun' like the interface, sorry. Maybe something brighter? |

Oh yeah, I plan to feature Layne pretty prominently, I just *love* BlueSkyHeart, and the "Dragon" skin for Kaleidoscope is the one I use most often. (See the iFace in the glass tute, so many folks ask, "how did you get your windows looking like that?" Heh.) Sorry it didn't do it for you, it's pretty much just what my current desktop looks like, only smaller. If you're in anything but Netscape on a Mac, the icons should have doucle-click activated, which is how most of the functions will work. Whatever, this was just a sneak peek at a work in progress. |

I like it, Doc, except for one problem in IE; when the mouse goes down or releases an icon, you lose control for maybe 1/5 of a second and can't move your mouse. It's quite annoying. Your best bet is to change the hrefs from "#" to a javascript function that doesnt do anything. This is what I always use: |

Yep, I'll add that donothing() script, I usually use that anyway, this first test is just a hack, nothing more. |

Hey Doc, just catching this now. Pretty damn cool if you ask me: beautiful color scheme in my opinion. Nice shiny icons too...of course they do like layne's a bit.... <img border=0 align=absmiddle src="http://www.ozones.com/forum/frown.gif"> |
