For some reason, it took me a couple months to remember the nick origin of our own spewer of filth, vogonpoet. It's been years since I read the Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, but I can't help but smile to remember the Vogons.

In honor of your awful taste, vogonpoet (a compliment), I have dug up an actual sample of the Worst Poetry in the Universe, though the Vogon's aren't far behind.

by Paula Nacy Millstone Jennings
of Essex, England.

The dead swans lay in the stagnent pool.
They lay. They rotted. They turned
Around occassionally.
Bits of flesh dropped off them from
Time to time.
And sank into the pool's mire.
They also smelt a great deal.

Heh reminds me of a short story The Eye of Argon, by Jim Theis found at: http://www.ibmpcug.co.uk/~owls/eye.htm

The same story with MST3K commentary is available at: http://www.bmsc.washington.edu/people/merritt/books/Eye_of_Argon.html

Truly an awful joy to read.

Actaully, if you read the rest of the books in the Hitchikers series, you see that they do eventaully extract the question form Arthur Dent's brain, and it turns out to be 'What is 6 multiplied by 7', not 'How many roads must a man walk down', no matter what the mice say.

Just when you thought that taste was dead, I came along and buried it - Skaarjj

The question was "What is the meaning to Life, The Universe, and Everything ?" wasn`t it? Life doesn`t mean much without the Universe and Everything does it? (considering the interconnectedness of all things)
