OK, so it's not that clever, but I've tried contacting them about taking and linking to images from my site and they've ignored me.

Incidentally, this is a framed page of a high-profile Dallas radio-morning-show Web site.

If they don't remove them in a couple of weeks, the image will get a little naughtier. Suggestions are welcome, but I have to work in a 55x50 size.

BTW, most people probably wont understand the sentence "kiddkiss steals from bigwaste.com" - i doubt many ordinary people really understand the concept of bandwidth and stealing it. You need something a little more...

Krets, what happened here, is they linked to an image on bigwaste.com without permission, by actually using the URL of bigwaste.com! So wes is simply changing an image that's on his own site.

I checked their source carefully. There is no image size blocks in place, so i say create an image 500 x 500 pixels of something really disgusting and replace that flashing 'kiddkiss steals from bigwaste.com' image with it. It will not only get the message accross good and proper, but will also stuff up the entire page layout.


Also, if you choose to go for the free advertising space thingy, put an ad for a porn site up there.

Skaarjj - Unfortunately they have height and width tags in the link to that file:

But, I did updated it with something better. Luckily, they copied and pasted the HTML from my site for the "Celebrities" graphic and it still has a link to my site. So I'm instructing people to click it to go to my site. Go take a look. I've added a whole page about the issue.

BTW, Bob, "kiddkiss this" - that's pretty funny. If I don't keep my new thing, I'll do that, then the genitalia.

Wow! They even copied your rollover code with it, so there's a JavaScript error! Can you change the "celebrities" image also?

You may want to add something to your page about how linking to images on another server is stealing bandwidth, as well as graphics.

I think it may be smart of you to write to the people in the pictures. They are rather famous people. And I am sure that their agents would be pretty peeved if they found that their pictures have been placed on a site that uses graphics that have been stolen.

I think you should have your lawer call theirs! Settle out of court and what not, they used your images, they didn't pay you, you charge $600 per image you create, and along with time and agravation you are entitled to say $2000, a nice little christmas present.

So, they've discovered my little graphic and have fixed it - WITHOUT REMOVING MY WORK.

Thankfully, someone wrote me and told me who is responsible for the site, as well as providing me with his e-mail address. I sent him this little note...

Looks like you can't take a hint. Luckily, someone contacted me and gave me your e-mail address. You are using graphics on the kiddkiss.com Web site that belong to me and you have not solicited my permission. Let me guarantee you that due to your lack of courtesy, you will not receive it.

Remove my graphics immediately, unless you are interested in paying for them.

I hope we don't have to take this any further.

And Kidd Kraddick broadcasts his radio show every day for everyone to hear. That doesn't mean someone else can tape it and play it on another radio station, now does it? And newspapers are distributed nationwide for the populace to read; that doesn't mean you can photocopy the comics and publish them as your own. Your flaws in logic are astounding.

Graphics displayed online are protected by law just as a photograph is in an art book. It would do you some good to study copyright law if you are going to be working in this medium.

And yes, I do feel better about myself. Judging from the response I have received, I can safely say that the Kidd Kraddick Web site is the butt of the joke.

Wow, your new celebrities graphic really looks like shit. What piece of crap site did you steal that one from? Its obvious from your source code you didn't create it yourself. You know, considering the name of the gif is in all caps and the rest of your site isn't. You could at least remove the light blue border from it on your index page, looks like it was designed by a third grader. That is, if you can do it yourself without stealing the code from another site.
