It's from NCSA, the National Center for Supercomputing Applications at the University of Illinois. (You might remember a little application called "Mosaic", thsat started all of this graphical web browser silliness, heh. Same folks.) Try looking at http://www.ncsa.uiuc.edu/SDG/Software/MacTelnet/Docs/ - this is the tool for you to use, I've got one friend, a webmaster/sysadmin, who manages about 50+ unix servers on his mac, running multiple windows with NCSA Telnet in it.
