I'm doing a site for a friend and it's a freebie so help me cut some corners would you? I'm looking for a free thumbnailing program that gives you control over the compression settings on the thumbnails. He's using something now called 20/20 or something thereabouts and the thumbs quality is awaful, the rest of it he is satisfied with. I just need something simple that he can use himself so I don't have to do all the updating. |

That's what I do. I use File > Automate > Fit Image to get the images the size I want, add some sharpening, make it an action and batch process them. Then I create a droplet in ImageReady and compress them in one swoop. |

Once upon a time there was a nice piece of software called CD2HTML... Today I went to its web site and found out that its no longer freeware . Fortunately, on the same site you can find previous version which is/was freeware, so give it a try: http://www.cd2html.de/download.en.html . |

Thanks fellas. I think I'll start with the 20/20 and see if he's just not finding the proper widgets that set things. I appreciate the help. I guess a Photoshop forum is a silly place to ask for personal recommendations on thumbnailing freeware, everyone here just uses PS, uh Duh. |
