my menu br has dissappeared in IE 5,

file, edit, tools and whatnot, is no longer there, someone tell me how to get it back please, ty

right click on an empty spot on your tool bar and get to customizing. Check 'menu bar' to get that particular strip back

Here is how you fix that:

Remember that CD that came with your computer that says something like "Windows Installation Disk"? That is really just the Explorer set up program. Put that into you CD drive and restart your computer.

When it says "This will reformat your drive" or something along that lines it really just means it will reformat IE to get it to work right.

Now just let it run. It will take about 15 to 20 minutes so just have some tea and bicsuits and then you'll be set.

Yeesh. I feel really bad about that whole uninstalling Windows post. I really am sorry. Windows had been pissing me off that day, making my games run like crap... I myself had just installed it the night before and then ye olde 95 wouldn't run worth anything so I had to reinstall Me. On top of that bitterness, I was in a sarcastic mood, I was rushed, and it just came out wrong. I didn't mean to come off like an asshole - I'm a really nice guy! Didn't mean to offend anyone or make a bad impression on anybody reading that. It was a bullshit reply because I didn't know the answer and I didn't have anything constructive to say. I feel like a jerk, and I feel like I've got this black mark on my character. Heh, you know, this reminds me of that first sig thread I posted. I sure am apologetic.

On a related note, THANK you to the people who replied to that post I made a while back when Photoshop wouldn't run. (It was a corrupt ICC profile.) Thanks for helping me.
