what would be truly cool is either have the avatar appear under the name/title/posts/location
or
have a cheezy bio for everyone and a script that randomly cycles their avatar and their bio at the top of the page, humm thats more work tho.

A lot of people have identical eyes, too. If you made a transparent gif and positioned it over all their eyes, You could make them blink. =)

Buncha, no, there're no problems with your version. I only think that overLib is much better. For example, you can implement it so that small popup with minimum info follows mouse and after you click to show more info in "sticky" popup...

that's definately got to be done doc.

and the email addy pop-ups are cool as hell

Pretty cool buncha; if the mouse doesn't move too far away though and it doesnt move to another head, the email should stay there so it can be clicked on, I think.

maybe we can put home page addresses in it too, under the emails.

glad you fellas like. needs a little work, i know - but it was the concept i was trying out. and only two hours work, max.

ps - if anyone knows if there are any good db access opportunities here, instead of just hard-coding, im all ears. with a couple of fingers too. but basically, javascript is my specialty , and i havent been able to delve into other areas much yet.
