i think there's not that much hype because all the planning is finished, and those who are coming are coming. This place is kinda gonna go a but dead when they all go to F1_error's place for the Con.

The planning is *far* from finished! There is a shitload of work left to do for it.

F1 has been MIA for a while now....which is kinda why nothing has been said about it for a while.

We'll have to wait and see what he has to say......

OK ok, here's the scoop. No, the planning is not finished, and actually, there's a bit of a crisis happening, I just didn't know what or how to say this. F1 has a bit of a personal issue going on right now, and things at the farm do not look good for us right now. He's asked me to keep a low profile on this, he doesn't want tons of email offering helps and whatnot, he just needs to do what he's got to do. (It's probably not what you're thinking. Stop that!)

So! The upshot is that the weekend of fun in the sun at ol' F1s farm will probably not be happening. I've not given up on the con, but in many ways we are back to square one. Really, I should have been working harder at this, but I've also got to try and keep my new business going and stuff, so it was easy enough to put off I guess. (Bad news always is, sigh...)

Well! Let's not panic, and let's once again start discussing alternative locations. I'm kind of keen on Minnesota, it's been two years since I've been back, and that would be pretty cool for me. I'm looking into a couple of private halls I could rent out for cheap, where we could drink (if we're of legal drinking age!) and yet the underagers can still get in. What to do? I was living in my own private state of denial up till now, but time to start facing the facts and moving on. I'll archive that last OZONEdotCON thread to the "Hall of Fame" and let's move our discussions there, cool?

I have a thirty acre farm in southern Indiana I would be glad to volunteer as a site for the Ozone.con. It is kinda rustic, but you are all welcome to come if it becomes necessary to move the site.
