Hi again all

I know I was there once or twice, but I don't seem to be able to find it again. I want to stop certain programs from starting and running automatically in the background. I recently checked my ram usage, and over half of it is being used, and I'm not really doing anything, no Photoshop, no Image Ready, No text editor, no Browser, no nothing, and 62% of my resources are being used already. Sooooo... I want to kill some of those programs on startup to see if I can loosen up some of that precious ram.

Thanks in advance

Krets,
I'm running 95a. Couldn't find msconfig when I tried the above. Doesn't exist on pre-98 OS?

Start/Run/RegEdit and modify HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/Software/Microsoft/Windows/CurrentVersion/Run (Also don't forget to purge Startup folder from Start/Programs menu)

I've had so many problems with my system lately, I'm a little paranoid about adding software or tweaking anything. Before I install X-setup, has anyone experienced problems with this software?

Allewyn, as long as you know what you're doing (more precisely if you know what you need to tweak), you'll be fine...
