Who will be 1000.

Doc, I think you should take it as a landmark.

Actually, AFAIK you should subtract 2 from the total number of members (i.e. it's not 1000, but 998), because Doc used first two users for testing purpose...

Actually, both of those numbers represented valid members as far as I can tell, who were deleted in one of those weird snafus we have had periodically over the years. I filled in the blank holes with dummy accounts so that the user# would match with that number listed, Definition of terms, really. whomever is that 1000th will go into the database as user #1000, that'll be cool. (I seem to remember someone saying I'd hit this by the end of the year, *last* year. Ah well.

[sneaking into Boudga's post, heh] Actually, 1997 is a pretty good number, I was happy and living back in Minnesota after having wnet to San Francisco, right at the start of the big Winternet/Visi fiasco, life was fun and exciting, the future was bright! Gimme a little while and I'll move on into 1998, also a good year, the year I met Malin, moved to Sweden, etc... [/sneaking]

That's OK; I checked with the bank, and they've granted me another thousand posts, yay! So now I feel rich, I can pidle away these posts throughout the forum, I'll get stingy again when I get near 3K, heh.

BTW, if you run into 'zerzer' from China give them a nice welcome as patient number 1000! I always wonder what motivates people to register the first time, what is it that pushes them over the edge, so to speak?
