um...I don`t think there`s a filter for that..
But, you can open a file 1 px wide, 2 px tall, transparent background, fill the top pixel w/ black, define pattern, fill *infected* area with that pattern, on a new layer.

If you try to fail and succeed, which have you done ?

yeah, i cant find that filter too!
i cant find the "add talent" filter either.
i tried to install the "add talent" filter, but it gave some message about the user unable the meet the system's minimum requirements, or something.
so i guess ill stick to dropshadows.

I tried that krets, but I kept getting "** Error **: Referenced at x0ff030fec. Foot class insertion into mouth variable illegal."

Now I'm a decent programmer, but I'm on this one.

Hey, where'd you get a "moron" filter?! I can't find that one...looked under tools but all I found was the "outright blunder" one Anyway, you're in the right place...

but seriously, you can make scanlines by opening a new transparent 100x100 image, ctrl-plus (+) until the image gets to 1600, set the rectangular marquee to fixed, 1W 1H, and fill with black (or other color). select an adjacent pixel to the first and fill with white (or other color), deselect, select both pixels and go to edit menu. Choose define pattern.
Go to the image you want scanlines in, select area to include scanlines, go back to edit menu and choose fill, pattern, OK. That should do it. God my head hurts...

you can use 2x2 if you wanted. the size of the image doesnt matter, just the fact that it tiles perfectly.

Yes, I find it much easier to use a much smaller image - usualy 4x4 is my preference. Then just use the pencil tool to draw 2 lines across it. does the same thing with less steps....then you just save the 4x4 image, and you never need to make one again.
