Well, I bought a dual-monitor vid card (Radeon VE) and so far it's been pretty sweet. The only downside is I wish I had two eyes so I can look at both at the same time. The only problems I'm having are the usual problems with compatibility since I play a lot of video games and most aren't coded for the dual setup. Other than that, I don't know how I could work without it Sort of like the mouse wheel. I also have a tv card so I watch on one screen and browse the net on the other. |

I've worked this way in Photoshop before, my image maximized on one screen, all my pallettes laid out neatly on the other. Sweet. I have a friend who plays one of the flying games, network variety. He can open new windows with different views out the cockpit, and places the right and left views on the right and left monitors, and the main view out the front. Hunches up in the middle of them, crazy setup, fer sure! |

As long as windows doesn't have a problem detecting and setting up both your cards, you should be fine. In your display properties, there should be an option to extend your desktop across both monitors. |
