Preserved Topic: Update about stolen designs (Page 1 of 1)

Hi all, and thanks for trying to help us out in this case. This type of mess is a terrible thing to deal with over and over again. But, I guess this is something we need to deal with when we have our work up for public. We just recived an e-mail from SWD's host and they wrote and said they should take action and take all the graphics away from the server. Doc have you heard anything?

Just posted in the other copyright thread before I read this one. The guys host replied to an email I sent, and said Thank you, they would notify the website owner, and the other parties involved. I hope everyone gets what they deserve.

Where the hell is Wead?

It looks like some of the pages are down now but a couple are still up there. The ones that are up don't really look like rips of doc's stuff but they do use some similar looking dhtml.

I didn't bother to look at the source code for credits.

Yepp, you are right some pages is done but far away from everything he has ripped. We haven't heard anything from his customer using our design and the page is still up... We sent them one more e-mail this morning so *hopefully* we will hear something from them soon. Guess they are real pissed right now.

Not sure but the link was found in his portfolio it took us to a Flower Company with their own domain name and address So I guess that's what he did yes.
