Gotta agree with Jeni on this one. Imageready works really nice for me. I think I remember you saying you had PS 6.0 so you should imageready installed as well.

I use Imageready for all my sigs. good for good, clean and small (bytesize) *.gif files. And it can slice webpages too. I love it.

yes, gif movie gear is a great program!

it's not free, but it's cheap ($40.00 ??? I think..)

any one know of any good free ones? I have PS 5.0, so I don't have image ready.....

Max/DL: so you export every frame in a *.gif and put 'em all in gif movie gear? if you do so, i DO think imageready is easier... need a tut for it?

No... Gif Movie Gear imports PSD's, layers as frames, all manner of controls, beats IR hands down. My opinion of course.

may I reiterate:

And, of course, as stated, some of us *don't* have imageready anyway...which excludes the need for a tut but thanks

yup yup yup.

still curious if anyone knows of any godd freeware apps?

Mahjqa, besides PSD import method that was mentioned above, you can also use Windows Clipboard to transfer images directly to GIF Movie Gear...
