Does anyone know of a typeface that's extremely close to Frutiger that is free?

Frutiger is 180 bucks! That's more than I wanna pay for a font.

Am I font blind? I really cannot see any big difference between this font and other common sans serif fonts. Nevermind I think I should spend some time learning font delicateness.

very subtle difference, yes. the price tag is not-so-subtle however

as a point of reference, the 's' is quite different, the curves are not as tight
