Preserved Topic: :Altamira Composer: Where? What the hell? Why? (Page 1 of 1)

I found Ozone on the web a few years back, unfortunately it was lost in the shuffle, thank god that I found the old bookmark on a zip (scared the $%@* out of me for awhile). Fortunately, I have Altamira Composer SE--I got it in '94 and I've been looking for the full version ever since. Does anyone know where I can get it, or did Altamira sell-out too quickly to make one.
If anybody still uses this great old program, let me know. I've got InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator and all the rest, but I always end up going back to trusty AC! It truly was ahead of its time, and equally as effective as Photoshop.

I think composer was bought by MircoSoft three or four years ago.

We're not reffering to Microsoft Image Composer, are we??? I use it all the time. Although I've found serrious flaws in it recently that make some things impossible to use it for, annoyingly...

No, I'm not talking about Microsoft Image Composer, although Altamira sold the image composer rights to Microsoft which (sadly) developed into the image composer that now exists... I'm talking about The composer before Bill Gates got his grubby little hands all over it.

Any ideas?
