So I've got two computers hooked together with a couple of simple network cards and it's beginning to bug me not being able to copy and paste from one computer to the other. Is there some wicked tricky to make this possible?

Hmm, that does sound interesting, I'd like to do that too! Don't think it's possible, though, unless the location of the "clipboard" was in some temp file, then maybe you could point one machine to the others temp file? 9 out of 10 people wouldn't even notice, but that tenth guest would be *so* amazed.

I remember seeing something like that. It even comes with source code...
The site is down at the moment.

But I can get the program from home.

I searched the net and found something, one of the things:

Well, I'm trying that little Network Clipboard program and it seemed to work pretty well, although I'm getting errors right now. If I can get it working again, it just might do the trick!

Anybody else try it?

OK, well it looks like the errors result from my trying to pass over a screen capture -- must be some sort of size limit. I guess the search continues.

What we need is an OS that spans more than just one system to incorporate all processors and devices it finds into one collective purpose. Not just dual processor but however many processor it can branch out and find. Then we have wait no ...............

Clipbook Server on Win NT/2000 should work. It's built in. Never played with it though.
