Mine came with my fax machine software but there are lots of free ones on the web. I did a search in goggle and came up with lots of them. |

Hmm. The only software I can think of off the top of my head is Pagoo. I don't know the exact website you can find it on, perhaps www.pagoo.com but you can search the net for it. It works alright, a couple bugs, I think you need to pay for it though. |

The best one I've ever seen was Microsoft Phone. But they quit supporting that, and it doesn't work on Win NT/2000. It was really nice because it basically added answering machine capabilities to Outlook. All of your messages were stored like emails. Very cool. |

Good luck! Microsoft dropped the ball on that one. For the longest time, you could only get it by purchasing one of the supported modems. It came bundled with those. I managed to get a copy at a computer show. I loved that software. Always broke my heart that they didn't keep up on it. I've yet to see anything that stored voice mail messages in Outlook. |

Long long time ago... ZyXel modems little program came with those.. put a .wav file on your harddisk. bad sound quality but id did work. But i think you are looking in the wrong direction. I know some of the sounblaster cards an the sonic-furry soundcard have an TAD (Telephone Answering Device) conector on them. Maybe those people know anything about it. |
