Don't do that, it makes some people angry when one posts just for the sake of getting a higher post count. Even if you're just kidding around.

I always do my best to forget about my post count. That way I know it's genuine.

Naturally posting for the sake of having a higher post count is not only pointless but annoying, I find it more annoying when people brag about how they only post when their giving a quality answer or its absolutely necessary and how rather then post twice in a thread they edit theirs.

Its just a number, does it really hold that much significance?
