Saturday morning at 3:54 am, Chasie Lane Halmich was born. She was 6 pounds 8 ounces and 21 inches.

I'll see about posting some pictures just as soon as I get my hands on the digital camera again. I have a few more things to say, but I want to catch up on a few other things first. I tell you what, after having worn the same clothes for 48 hours, it sure felt good to finally take a shower.

wj: Congrats - cigars all round (as long as we open the windows). Full marks for going with the name too And thanks for taking a shower - we might have had to open the windows anyway!!

I presume her Photoshop training starts Monday?

Everybody is home and things should be back to normal sometime tomorrow. Right now everybody's sleep schedule is so out of whack.

Chasie is our second daughter. Our first daughter is Savannah. They are the only kids that we have and we aren't going to have any more (woman got her tubes tied). Sometimes we have the cousin, Jordan, who is a complete monster. Savannah and Jordan are known collectively as "The Heathens".

Marks for sticking with the name, but the spelling was changed. I wasn't exactly happy about it, but I'll survive.

She seems very healthy. Also very non-fussy, which is almost creepy. She grabs things with her thumb on the inside; I hope that doesn't cause problems down the road when I'm teaching her how to punch. She got a *full* head of hair. She's got so much hair, that the doc couldn't use a head-tap screw thing to moniter her.

I've got the digital camera, but no way to get the pictures to my comp. :sigh: Hopefully soon I'll get the hardware stuff sorted out. I suppose I could toss her on the flatbed and scan a few. Heh.


Pink pills for everybody! These ones are bubblegum flavored. Mmm...
