I dont know any body who has got 2.5 million to buy the franchise but, hey I think he or she whos buy the franchise should attempt to get in the NHL. Alaska has less than a million people statewide, and maybe a third or so live in Anchorage. Not enough to guarantee enough ticket sales to keep a major sports team going. Heck, that's one of the reasons the AA hockey team went belly up. Well, that and some mismanagements and a couple of terrible seasons.
