telo78 Nervous Wreck (II) Inmate From: mississauga,ontario canada Insane since: Jun 2002	posted 06-28-2002 04:57 hello everyone, i'm a newbie here....i found out this site when i was searching for some tutorials on the net, THIS IS A BIG HELP...anyways i got a silly question cuz my illustrator program won't accept gif images when i use the "place" command. all i see is the white backround of the image...anyone who would be kind enough to help me out? if i insert a jpeg image, it includes the backround (the square backround) which i don't want. i only want to insert the profile of the image that i edited from photoshop. i haven't been using adobe for awhile cuz i got hacked, but i hope i get a response as soon as possible, thank you very much and good night! othello francis sup yo!

If of course your are running an illegal copy of illustrator or have lost your manual you can click the Illustrator logo at the top of the tool box to get help online or check the help tab at the top of the screen ~We're not here for long, we're here for fun~

If I were you, I would go down to the book store and buy some photoshop books. You will learn a bunch... even more than from the manual. By the way.... press F1... BAM... a manual.

I just save as a jpg and move it to Corel without any problems. Maybe an Illustrator dude will help you out. If money is tight, you can learn a bunch by going through online tutorials. go to my website and click on the PS Links... many pages of good tutorials.

well, I hate to say it, but I HATE Illustrator... and I LOVE Corel Draw. I just save as a jpg and move it to Corel without any problems. Maybe an Illustrator dude will help you out.
