*sitting at my guard station watching Dr. Jest stroll down the hall on a back and white screen. I raise my head up and give you a fangy smile.*

Welcome Dr. Jest! My name is Wolfen and I am the security guard wolf here at the Asylum. My job here is to make sure that your stay here is safe and comfortable as possible. An attendant will be around shortly to show you to your soft padded room. I do see that you have a jacket already, but we always have extras on hand. Your medication and your crayons will be provided for you at your room. There are very few rules here, like eat your pears, keep the screaming to a minimum of two days and do not mind the fuzzy talking elephants that run though the halls at 4 am. Those are just hallucinations. But.. there is one rule that is imperative around here....

DO NOT give any of your black pills to Wakkos! No matter how much he cries, begs, pleads, whines or offers favors. Don't give him any. Trust me on this.

Other than that, welcome to the Asylum and enjoy your stay. Oh, and make sure to stop by the Sig room. We like personalization. Again, welcome.

Welcome .. but um, same as DL-44 above, the old italics and strange third person story and lack of time prevented me from reading it.

It doesn't appeal to me either.
I don't really give a shit if you can write in 3rd person and you're good about ensuring that you are typing italics in every post.
I just find it annoying on the whole.

we said the italics and 3rd person shit was hard to read.

Which begs the question....why would anyone want to read a post that seems deliberately hard to read?

Well, i'm touched that i've drawn your attention enough to come to someone else's rescue.
Threep's posts were far different in the manner they were presented... And in all honesty... comparing his words to hers... I don't think there bears many similarities.

The rest of us do not know that...... and it certainly seemed she was going to.

I see people saying shit all over the place that i don't appreciate either.
I don't stop at every post (a friend be involved, or not) and pipe up.
