I was wondering if anyone had any advice on relieving stress in the spot. I recently exploded on one of my friends and I am usually a very very docile and non-aggressive guy. I did it over the phone thankfully, but all my friends believe that if the guy had been there I would have tried to kill him. |

Hmmm...breathe. Now breathe out. Repeat slowly, until said stress relaxes... |

Exercise. Preferrably hard exercise. Nothing relieves stress like a good workout. |

Hhhmmm stress, I only once full stressed out that much I had chest pains and cus of the situation (family problems, etc) I found that talking about it was best. If I was you I would find out what is bothering you and talk about it with someone if it's that big, but if it's just due to a stressful day at work and stuff all things said above should do the trick. |

For on the spot, breathing I'll agree w/. I listen to music at my desk, something soothing, like Dido, but that's just me hehe. If you can, go take a run or something. That doesn't really help if you're at work but I hate running....I hate it enough that it takes my mind off whatever is stressing me out at the time. Apparently, according to my friend Melissa, if you love it, it does the same thing. Whataya know! |

Did you really have issue with the guy you blew up at? Something you were ignoring with him that you finially let get too big to supress or was it a random moment of hostility. If it was anything but random maybe you just need to address those issues with that person. If it was random the excercise option will work to a point but you need to address the cause. Why were you stressed? |

shock theraphy and a straight jacket does wonders. But reading a book always seem to help me get rid of the stress when the shock therapy is unavailable. |

Moaiz - Yeah it was actually issues that all came out at once. His girlfriend had come to me crying the night before hes quite the womanizer, and hes just been a little different around everyone lately... real secretive with all of us. The general consensus has been "Someone was going to do it, better it be from his best friend". |
