Okay, here's the scoop:

A domain name that we were using to perform our DNS services was mistakenly allowed to expire. This caused intermittant connectivity issues with some of our servers. Unfortunately, this included the GurusNetwork site, the PSPong site, and a couple of sites owned by Asylum and GurusNetwork members.

Myself and the rest of the folks here are truly sorry. We worked hard (unbelievably hard - some were up for 40+ hours) to resolve the problems as quickly as possible. Several solutions were put into place in hopes that this doesn't happen again.

As a result, those members who are hosted at RunningWolf that suffered from the outtage will be credited with 90 days of extended service.

We believe that connectivity is fully restored to our systems, although some DNS changes may take another 24 hours to populate to all of the name servers. Those attempting to get to GurusNetwork who performed Mr. Max's recommended fix should now remove that fix and test connectivity. We thank Mr. Max for the resolution. During the outtage, it was hard to get word to all of the customers, and Mr. Max was quick enough to get a fix online before I could. THANK YOU, Mr. Max!

Again, we appologize for the inconvenience and hope that you'll continue to visit the GN and PSPong sites, as well as do business with us.

If any member is having continued problems, please feel free to report them to either myself or support@runningwolf.com.

Thanks!

No probs Pugz, at least we know that those of us that couldn't get onto the GurusNetwork weren't sharing some kind of mass hallucination, although with the amound of black market black pills floating around this place, it's a wonder we aren't!

As to Maskk's prob.
DNS issues are notoriously slow to fix themselves, it's not something where you can just fix the box and the site works, if the DNS fails then the new DNS solution needs to propogate all over the internet. What this means is most of your DNS is handled by your individual ISPs How often the rebuild their DNS tables is up to them. There are also issues with proxys etc. It is not something that fixes itself instantly it sometimes takes a while.

No prob here pugz

Of the ~40 domains that we needed to update, only a few have yet to be fully resolved. GurusNetwork & PSPong are the only ones, really.
