Has anyone else been having this problem with the Asylum, or is it just me?

I keep getting broken images all the friggen time and it's seriously starting to aggrivate me. I'm just wondering if it's the Asylum or if it's caused by that new WinXP service pack that I installed a few weeks back. It seems to have started right after I did that, but I can't be sure of it.

*Edit: I guess it's only fair that I make a stupid typo in the thread topic right after making fun of Emps for doing the very same thing

I don't have any problems either.

Anyway, Synax, your web browser cache is probably screwed and I would suggest you to empty it...

Well max, I've just cleared my cache and all the temporary files I could find and it's still giving me this shit.

Hold ctrl and click on refresh button in IE toolbar (or press ctrl+f5). That should instruct IE to completely reload everything that's on the page. Also, if you're accessing the internet via proxy server, try to turn it off in internet options...

Well you see - I can bring the images up by reloading or by refreshing the individual images (right click -> show picture: IE6), but that doesn't rectify the problem - it'll just happen again later on. I never used to have this problem (and I should check it on my other computer) until I installed the WinXP service pack. It could just be a coincidence, but knowing Microsoft, it's probably not.

I should also point out that this only seems to happen to the Asylum and no other website (maybe a few of it's sister sites, if I recall correctly).

yes, synax. i have the very same problem here too!
and also with other sites i visit often.

and its always only very small images. (<200 px²)

and its probably an IE cache problem, but i havent found out what exactly it is.

edit: and yes, it also occured for me the first time right after i installed winXPs SP1.

I've concluded that the problem is indeed related to the Window's XP service pack. This BS doesn't go happen on my other computer w/o the service pack.

Try holding CTRL and scrolling your mousewheel, izzy. That may fix it

For the record, synax.. I've been having the same problem since SP1. It seems to do it with other forum's small buttons as well...
