![]() I used to use Win2k. I liked it a lot. Then, Bill Gates releases WinXP and I eXPerienced it. I liked it more, because it was just like the previous one (Win2k) with a more appealing interface. Then I started using only WinXP (although I have my trustable Win2k in another partition). But I always hated WinXP because it was sort of slow when using Windows Explorer, when browsing files (and in other situations where the HD was heavily searched). |

![]() Ducati, and what if I have exactly 512 MB of RAM, would you still recommend turning off the swap file? I have just bought 256 MB of RAM and now my system has 512 total. I'm not sure about how to make good use of these extra RAM since I notice that WinXP is not able to use it very often. My swap file is in another partition, actually in a different drive than WinXP's. |
