Wow. 17 years... I feel for you, man. I know what it's like losing a pet... like losing a member of the family. When I was in high school, our dog, Shadow (who had also been around for a very long time, almost 15 years) got cancer and had to be put to sleep. He just sat there, panting and smiling (you know how dogs smile) while my brother and I hugged him and cried our eyes out. Man, that was over ten years ago and I still get a lump in my throat thinking about it. That must sound pretty silly...

I'm very sorry to hear about your loss.

We just recently lost one of our beloved ferretts. It is a sad thing I know.

Our pets become more than just our pets. They become of friends/family. Our pets our like our children. When they get sick it just breaks your heart to see them have a hard time.

Again, I am very sorry to hear about this.

Later,

The poster has demanded we remove all his contributions, less he takes legal action.
We have done so.
Now Tyberius Prime expects him to start complaining that we removed his 'free speech' since this message will replace all of his posts, past and future.
Don't follow his example - seek real life help first.
