I am using Textpad, and for some reason when I save an HTML file and uplaod it, the double spaces between the periods and the next sentence in my text is removed, so the sentences are butted up against each other. Now, I've copied the text from the webpage, and pasted it into the editor, and the spaces (which aren't there on the web page) are there again in the editor. =( I've tried tweaking all the settings I can find that might effect it, but no luck. Anyone have any thoughts?

I was under the understanding that HTML doesn't support double-spacing and will turn a double space into a single space unless you put a nbsp doohickey in there. Of course, that still doesn't explain your problem. Could you maybe post an example for us to take a gander at?

Is there a special reason why you need an unusually large space between sentences?

UNIX-based systems are the foundation of the web, and it's wiser to speak UNIX from the get-go.
