Tyberius.. the functionallity around UBB code and textarea dimensions when posting is brilliant.

I was first diappointed to see that the new asylum was just to be a "reengineering" project, not a "redesign" project (I love *this* design, but surely a new site should LOOK new!?) BUT THEN I played with the functionality - a great improvement - and perhaps most efficient/useful I've ever used: I usually [read: always] struggle with UBB code (and its cousins) and its great to see you've scripted it into the page so cleanly and minimalistically (sp?) .

You've hit the nail right on there head the sonic. A new site should look now, but this isn't a new site. This is simply a recode and update of this existing site. This is the design and colour scheme the asylum's always been and for the forseeable future this is how it will stay. All we did was to take this design and put a new backend behind it and add some new functionality. This design isn't ours, so we can't go messing with it as we please.
