Hi, I just got infected with this trojan or virus and having difficulties in getting it removed. I got it when downloading norton antvirus 2004 from the keygen. Does anyone know what i can do to remove it?

samman: I just checked to see what keygen was and it appears to be a site for cracked software and serial numbers so, while enjoying the irony of the situation, I'm not filled with an overwhelming desire to help pull your ass out of the fire. However, eyezaer is right - go to out Security section:

and grab the freely available tools (you don't need to download illegal software when there are perfectly respectable free versions available) - I'd recommend you go for the full range: firewall, antivirus, spybot removers, etc.

This isn't a virus. If Norton finds a keygen or hacktool for itself it marks it as a virus (kinda funny).

1) AVG Antivirus A pretty good Antivirus security solution

Emps, keygen is a common term to key generator, software that tries to generate cd keys and such for specific programs, not necesarily a website.
