Saw a trailer for it during LOTR. Looked freaking awesome! They did a much better job on Doc. Oc than they did on GG.

Considering the first one was rather poorly done, especially when spiderman was flying through the air, this one looks like they spent more time on making it look good. The first one though lacked any sort of realistic portrayal of how gravity effects someone flying through the air on a spiderweb. At least I thought so. It was horrible, but this one looks like they finally did Spiderman some justice.

I enjoyed it. Saw it a long time ago... but it was fun.

at the time, his movement didnt bother me... and CG usually does. Maybe i need to watch it again.

The first one was fantastic! Including the green goblin.

There were some questionable CG movements with the web swinging, but that aside, it was great.

Can't view the trailer here from work......gonna have to wait until I get home =(

The first movie
I did like the webslinging, but the camera motion was a bit much for me.
At first, I was bothered by the ending with MJ. But I quickly got over it because that's the way it has to be (at least in the beginning of their relationship).
I was kind of bothered by the lack of Gwen Stacey. I was kind of bothered because it was a defining moment similiar to Uncle Ben. But I guess one such defining moment is enough in such a movie.

Over-all, I liked it very much.

Second movie hopes and things
Doc Oc? I was hoping for Reptile because of interesting character development. Reptile/Connors isn't your average get-revenge-and-conquer-the-world kind of villian. I'm not saying that all other villians are like that, but Connors has more depth than most.
Okay, that's my only real thing for the second movie.

Third movie
Harry gets seriously crazy with the Cheese Whiz.
Because in the third movie, "the past comes back to haunt you".

I don't have the skills to analyse technically a movie, all I can say is if I liked it or not. Spiderman one was good. Good to watch once and forget.

I would have to disagree with you there, InI... I think lots of sequels would be great in a lot of these comic book movies. A sort of visual comic book collection. What kid hasn't wished for one of those? I've really enjoyed all of the comic book inspired movies. Hulk was sort of disappointing and Spawn hurt me, but all in all they are pretty good. If they can continue pulling the good strong themes and stroies along in X-men and Spiderman there is a good chance we'll get to see many many more teams and epic storylines evolve. Fantastic Four with Silver Surfer/Galactus would be a great one to see, as is the Phoenix Saga that appears to be on the horizon for X-Men. That could easily lead into the Excalibur team being introduced along with Apocolypse. Lots of cool things can come of sequels providing they are done correctly. With Stan Lee's influence I imagine it will be done correctly or not done at all.

Some other comic book inspired movies to come:
GhostRider
The Punisher
Fantastic Four
X-Men 3
Batman: Intimidation
Iron Man
Superman

Well... that's all I can come up with for now... as you can see, comics are a big thing right now.

I really had issues with the first spidey model. I understood that they used the model from hollow man and adapted it to their needs. This spidey model looks much more fluid and realistic, a bit less cartoonish.
Guess i'll see all the true believers there on opening day.

Hell yeah! Venom would be cool in the movie. The new comic that came out of Venom was a little flat IMHO.
The new Spidey stuff is awesome though. If you like comics and want to read some good stuff, the Ultimate Spiderman and Ultimate X-men are great.

Ghost Rider.....that would be a cool movie. Not sure what the hell happend to the comic but it sure did suck those few issues.

no shit. if it's not i'm going to be 1. Very surprised and 2. very pissed.

I mean, come on. Johnny Blaze...Ghost Rider. Kind of like Bacon and Eggs. Not sure what that other character was.

at any rate, the Doc Oc looks great. I am very pleased with the way they did it. Picked a good actor to do the roll too. Much better than Arney doing Mr. Freeze.

I never liked Spiderman 1. If there is something i cannot stand from a movie (otehr than poorly done and unffiting cg) is being predictable. That and that they didnt do justic to green goblin.

I have never really liked any of the comic to movie deal, other than Batman Returns and somewhat The Crow. Spawn, being one of my fav comic chars, had a horribly bad movie . I havent seen the League of the extraordinary Gentlemen nor From hell, but i have heard bad critiques about the first. I do not want to imagien what tehy could do to sandman.
