Preserved Topic: Weird Outlook quirk... (Page 1 of 1)

My Outlook is duplicating my email messages. When I check them on my server there is only one message but when I download it to Outlook I get two copies.

This is really annoying. Any clues as to why this might be happening?

Are you using the Rules Wizard? That's been none to duplicate messages, especially if you have two rules that try to fire on the same message.

Yep, I've got a few rules set up.

I was going to try getting rid of a couple of them to see what that did.

Just turn them off by unchecking the boxes...

well, this happens when I pop Hotmail messages...
I just ignore the duplicate listing because after few refreshes outlook adjusts the messages and all goes fine again.
